Concepts for Reliefs!

Journal Entry: Thu Dec 21, 2006, 1:47 AM
By the way, I need concepts! I'm compiling a database of images to work from, and I think that will be my primary source of inspiration. I work specifically from photograph (or drawing, etc) and have a good eye for seeing 3-dimensionality. All images that I make independently or on commission will be available for sale once created, because I make reusable molds on everything I do.

IF you have an image that you'd like to have as a relief, SEND ME THE IMAGE. If its something that I'm interested in doing, then you could just get it once it is done, without having to commission the piece for it to be made. These must be things that are either cool enough that I just cant resist, or something that the public would be interested in purchasing. For example... collectors pieces (of anything).

Things I'm looking for (this is just to give you an idea):
-Dragons and all things fantasy
-Romance images that are universally appreciable
-Nudes with good angles/contours for sculpture
-Mainstream (anything that would sell easily)
...and anything else that would make a good relief
at this point I'm open for ideas. Once christmas passes, I'll be producing carvings non-stop and making reproductions available.

There will be an extra charge if you'd like the piece to be an original, "one and only" in which case I would destroy the mold once it was made. Some pieces will be made as limited editions depending on circumstance.

TO SEND ME YOUR IDEAS just message me on DA and I will reply with my personal email address. OR just send me links to the image and I'll take a look.

So I'm sure that plenty of people have considered the advantages/disadvantages and possibilities/impossibilities and likelihood of a One World Government. I've thought about it a bit, and I've got a one-up on it.
Screw the world. We grew up here, we developed and "evolved" here (whether from apes or dust, i dont care) so in truth its like... its like we've been living at our parents' house for the last few thousand years. Sure its been longer than that, but when you're young its acceptable. I'd say that our race (the human race, of course) has reached adulthood and it is time to mature. Its time to really grow up, and leave the tits of Mother earth behind.

So instead of a one-world-government, I'd rather consider what the implications and requirements would be for an Off-World-Government. Put a little more effort into our spacial colonization abilities, and get on with it. Find a hospitable planet, or create one. I dont mean from scratch, just do a little home-improvement to a local hovel to make it more hospitable. Like mars. Or if you dont feel like doing all that house-cleaning, use the equivalent to a trailor park. Build large bio-domes, interconnected yet self-sufficient.

We as a race can do anything we put our minds to, but apparently we'd rather blow each other up and make movies about it than to grow up and make history with it.
